What is FreeLoads, Why was it started?
FreeLoads is a site for downloading, discussing, and posting software and related products. It was originally started by me, (Mike), and my friend Aaron later joined and has been helping out ever since. We have hired more staff, and we are currently doing good. We also enjoy talking about gaming, and just hanging out.
Why should I stay active on FreeLoads?
When you stay active on FreeLoads, it not only helps out the site, but can help you get to know the members, and see when something new has been posted, which you might be interested in. As well, if you are an active member, you could be eligible for staff positions in the near future. You would be more likely to have willing people to complete your program or graphic request.
What is a request, and what is the limit I can ask for?
A request is something that you post, asking for us (being the Admins/moderators, or even a member), to help you find. On FreeLoads, you can request to have a certain program found for you, or in the photoshop forum, have a piece of graphic, such as a signature, avatar, banner, or other picture made for you specifically by our group of proffesional Designers. In the photoshop forum, you must have 20 posts or more to request a graphic, and once you do, you can request up to 3 (as long as you specify what you want in your topic name and include how you want it to be made). You may request as many programs as you like, but keep in mind we might not find it for you as fast, depending on how hard or how many there are.
Why Should I register on FreeLoads?
If you register then you can access the forum, it currently doesn't allow guests to view it. You will have viewing to all topics, and can start your own, as well as post replies with your ideas or opinions in them. You can also request things, and create friendships with our members. You do not need an email verification to join the site, and it's totally free! Join Here! We will soon have paypal donations to help pay for an upcoming freeloads.org.
How is this legal?
The programs which actually do cost money, which we offer free with no viruses, are not being distributed by us. We are simply providing you the information for educational purposes. You won't get in trouble for downloading the products that we post. We have tested every single program that we have ever uploaded, and can gaurentee that if it has the miikerocks virus free seal of approval, then it is perfectly safe. We also currently have had NO viruses uploaded by our users to harm other members.
Liability:
For liability reasons, I have created this post. Any content posted by our members does not represent the views of the Freeloads owner: miikerocks, or any of its' affiliates. We strive to create a content-rich site and any content posted by our users helps with that, and is owned by us. We apologize if any questionable content may surface on our site, and is not deleted right away after complaints from users. IF such content is posted, or if you oblige by the post, we will do our best to remove it and/or warn the use as fast as we can. If you find ANY post on our site which you question to be harmful, or containing viruses, contact our admns or moderators right away! If something posted has been commented to be bad, don't download. Be sure to ask a high ranking person on the site. If you have problems with our content, email miikerocks@freeloads.org
Can I put this stuff on other sites?
This depends. If you like our content, and want to put it on some other site, then contact me or one of our moderators either through the pm system or at support@freeloads.org. If you do not wish to do this, then do the following. Give proper credit: Say who on FreeLoads posted it, and give a link to www.freeloads.org OR to the topic link. We would not get mad if you wanted to post our content on another site, because that means that atleast something we have, somebody thinks is good information. Just please give us credit, we've worked hard to help our members and no gain, so please help us!
